RETURNS AND REFUND POLICY

ELGZONE’s Replacement Guarantee seeks to assist Buyers who have been defrauded by qualified sellers on the Website or APP. The return policy period (ELGZONE’s Replacement Guarantee) depends on the product category and the seller. If at the time of delivery and/or within the applicable return policy period, if any defect is found, then the buyer of the product/s can ask for replacement of the product/s from the seller subject to the following terms and conditions

 

  1. Notify seller of any defects in the product/s at the time of delivery of the product/s and/or within 10DAYS period and the same product/s will be replaced in return of the defective product/s.
    Replacement can be for the entire product/s or part/s of the product subject to availability of the same with the seller.
  2. Sellers on ELGZONE IT PLATFORMS will clearly mention their terms of sale and return policy specifically on each product they are offering for sale. If they didn’t mentioned the period the above rules will be applicable.
  3. Referred Product means -devices, accessories, notebooks, netbooks, tablets, desktops, cameras, gaming consoles, and any other items purchased from our website. In accordance with the term you can exchange or return purchased product(s), within 10 days from the date of purchase on the following conditions if another not specified in :
  • Save the check, invoice, warrantee card and other related documents, provided to you at the time of purchase.
  • Product should not be in used condition and should not show that it was previously used.
  • Save the original seal.
  • No Software should be installed or deleted.
  • Product has the complete original packaging (if product was sold in original packaging).
  • Saved accessories, consumables included with the products, components, labels, accompanying documentation and software, etc. and their packaging is not damaged.

Bundled items, including free items, buy 1 get 1 offers etc. must all be returned together and should meet the standard return policy in order to be refunded or exchanged.

Our policy lasts maximum of 10 days. If 10 days have gone by since your purchase and without any complaint, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase as mentioned in Terms & Conditions

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non- exchange , non- refundable and non-returnable items are as follows :

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items
  • Cables wires, cords, cables which are released by the meter CD, Cartridges, or any Consumable product Products which are Refurbished or sold with a special super low price (Marked down products, Special Offers, Today Deals, Daily Deals or any other product which has been sold with discount ).
  • Non-warranted items if the seal is broken, Products sold by individuals as used or new items which they used or not used and wish to sell online.
  •  Damages due to misuse of product;
  •  Incidental damage due to malfunctioning of product;
  •  Any consumable item which has been used/installed;
  •  Products with tampered or missing serial/UPC numbers;
  •  Digital products/services
  •  Any damage/defect which are not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty
  •  Any product that is returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the box, manufacturer’s packaging if any, and all other items originally included with the product/s delivered;
  •  Jewellery which is ‘made to order’ on customer’s request

On Clothing and Footwear, qualified sellers accept 10 days exchange subject to the following conditions:

Clothes and footwear are not used (other than for trial), altered, washed, soiled or damaged in any way.

Original tags and packaging should be intact. For items that come in branded packaging, the box should be undamaged.
Returns are not applicable for ‘Made to order’ jewellery, Innerwear, lingerie, socks, clothing freebies, etc.
Damaged or defective or ‘Not as described’ products in Lifestyle category (includes clothing, footwear, etc.) are meanwhile covered by the 10 Day Replacement Guarantee.
If ELGZONE has suspicion or knowledge, that any of its buyers and sellers are involved in any activity that is intended to provide claims or information that is false, misleading or not genuine, then ELGZONE may while reserving its rights to initiate civil and/or criminal proceedings against member may also at its sole discretion suspend, block, restrict, cancel the Display Name of such buyer and seller and /or disqualify that user and any related users from availing protection through this program.

ELGZONE reserves its right to initiate civil and/or criminal proceedings against a user who, files a invalid and/or false claims or provides false, incomplete, or misleading information. In addition to the legal proceedings as aforesaid, ELGZONE may at its sole discretion suspend, block, restrict, cancel the Display Name [and its related Display Names] of such user and/or disqualify that user and any related users from availing protection through this program. Any person who, knowingly and with intent to injure, defraud or deceive, files a Fraudulent Complaint containing false, incomplete, or misleading information may be guilty of a criminal offence and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

Book with obvious signs of use, CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Any item that is returned more than 10 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund with specified reasons.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 20 days.

 

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items ( Items offered at less price than market price) cannot be refunded.

 

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@elgzone.com and our team will inspect and investigate and guide you accordingly.

 

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

 

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to them to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

All ELGZONE IT PLATFORMS provide various products and services and all the materials and products (including but not limited to software) and services, included on or otherwise made available to YOU through this site are provided on “as is” and “as available” basis without any representation or warranties, express or implied except otherwise specified in writing. Without prejudice to the forgoing paragraph, ELGZONE DOES NOT WARRANT that:

  • This Website will be constantly available, or available at all; or
  • The information on this Website is complete, true, accurate or non-misleading.

ELGZONE will not be liable to YOU in any way or in relation to the Contents of, or use of, or otherwise in connection with, these PLATFORMS.

ELGZONE does not warrant that these PLATFOMRS; their servers; or electronic communication sent from US are free of viruses or other harmful components.

Nothing on these PLATFORMS constitutes, or is meant to constitute, advice of any kind. All the Products and Services sold on these PLATFORMS are governed by different state or country laws and if Seller is unable to deliver such Products due to implications of different state laws, Seller will return or will give credit for the amount (if any) received in advance by Seller from the sale of such Product that could not be delivered to YOU.

You will be required to enter a valid phone number while placing an order on the Website. By registering Your phone number with us, You consent to be contacted by Us via phone calls and/or SMS notifications, in case of any order or shipment or delivery related updates. We will not use your personal information to initiate any promotional phone calls or SMS.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION GUARANTEE

ELGZONE established to serve the community with complete Customer Satisfaction. Every product we sell is backed by the manufacturer’s warranty.

In case the product or service you have purchased fails to meet the offered quality or standard on sale, kindly review it and return the product or inform us the service, within 10 days of purchase as mentioned on receipt, and we will be pleased to arrange an exchange or refund or solution for a better service. If a coupon, discount, or special offer was part of the original order, the amount will not be eligible for refund. Returns must be in a “new” resalable condition, including all manuals, components and accessories, and in the manufacturer’s original packaging. Return may also be subject to a 10% restocking fee. We request our customers to kindly read our terms and condition carefully.

Used or New Goods & Exchange Offers:

By participating in the exchange or sale offer of used items or non-used items the User agrees and confirms the following :-

I confirm that I am the sole and absolute owner and/or user of the product mentioned above (device).

  • I confirm that device which I am exchanging under the buyback program or wish to sell as used device is genuine and is not counterfeit, free from any and all encumbrances, liens, attachments, disputes, legal flaws, exchange or any Agreement of Sale etc. and I have got the clear ownership of the said device.
  • You agree to indemnity and keep indemnifying ELGZONE and any future buyer of the device against all or any third party claims, demand, cost, expenses including attorney fees which may be suffered, incurred, undergone and / or sustained by ELGZONE, its affiliates or any future buyer due to usage of the device by you till date and you undertake to make good the same.
  • I confirm that all the data in the said device will be erased before handing it over under buy back program. I also confirm that in spite of erasing the data manually/electronically, if any data still accessible due any technical reason, ELGZONE, Retail or the Manufacturer shall not be responsible for the same and I will not approach ELGZONE for any retrieval of the data.
  • I hereby give my consent that my personal information that I have provided in connection with this buyback program or used goods sales program, might be processed, transferred and retained by the retailer and other entities involved in managing the program for the purposes of validating the information that I provided herein and for the administration of the program.
  • I agree to indemnity and keep indemnifying the ELGZONE and any future buyer of the old device against all or any third party claims, demand, cost, expenses including attorney fees which may be suffered, incurred, undergone and / or sustained by ELGZONE, its affiliates or any future buyer due to usage of the device by me till date and I undertake to make good the same.
  • I understand once a device is sent by me to ELGZONE, in no scenario can this device be returned back to me.
  • I understand that the new device delivery and the old device pickup will happen simultaneously (hand in hand) and I shall keep the old device ready to be given for exchange.
